Timba Smits
Recently one of my friends told me about Timba Smits and instantly after checking out his website i was in love. He also has some beautiful photos of buildings in london and other photos of artwork, graffiti, etc, that inspires him.
"Timba Smits is an award winning Melbourne born / London based graphic designer, artist, illustrator, independent publisher, self confessed magazine addict and wannabe olympic ping-pong playa. He is also the worlds tallest ninja (in his dreams) and has a proper love of all things retro and kitsch.
Most commonly though, Timba is known for founding one of the world’s art communities best kept secrets… Wooden Toy Quarterly: the only quarterly boogazine (half book half magazine) to come out once per year, and proud of it! Wooden Toy is not only a publication worth collecting for its design alone, but for its aim to document and highlight emerging and established creatives that have in some way been influenced by contemporary culture, design and art while drawing in the creatives that Timba thinks can be, and are, an influence or inspiration to others." (quoted from www.timbasmits.com)
Vessel Holiday Gifts
"These are holiday gifts for our clients at Vessel, a packaging design studio in Chicago's West Loop.
The beer is from our friends at Southern Tier Brewery in Lakewood, NY, and features their IPA and Krampus Holiday Blend silk-screened in white and finished with a matching drawstring bag. Label illustration by Tony Ruth (aka Lunchbreath, aka partner at Vessel)."

Minuscule-the private life of insects - "The quest for the pink lollipop"
This cute show about insects are shown on abc every now and then and runs for about 5 mins. I love the French-made series of short video animations that give a bird's eye view of insects day to day existence. The characters are computer-modelled in 3D. Each animation has a self-contained and usually humorous storyline.
I absolutely love this animation. It's so simple and very clever. This would have to be my favourite eposide.

Chris Ede
I love that feeling when you have spent hours researching for a project and you finally come across something that instantly gives you that spark. I recently found illustrator Chris Ede on www.illustrationweb.com a site full of various illustrators.
"Chris Ede is a freelance contemporary illustrator working in London.
Chris’ digitally manipulated fusion of hand-drawn and photographic elements equates to an exciting, multi-textured, conceptual and often humorous illustration style, perfect for the editorial, publishing and advertising markets."

Our Tuts
I recently came across this website whilst researching vintage and retro logo designs. I thought it to be very helpful. I haven't fully explored this website but if you scroll down to the very bottom the website contains tutorials, inspiration, articles, top fonts and much, much more. Well worth checking out.

IZZE Sparkling Juice
“IZZE came from us hanging around in grocery stores amazed by all the clutter inherent on almost every package we put our hands on. We were determined to find a better, simpler way. We also wanted to make packaging for an organic, natural, juice-sweetened soda that would attract people who don’t care about that sort of thing. And the kids had to like it, too.”
